Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and airflow-related issues efficiently and accurately
• Recommend system improvements and upgrades to enhance performance and energy efficiency
• Lead or assist with light commercial and residential equipment installations when needed
• Provide guidance, support, and on-the-job training to junior technicians and apprentices
• Communicate professionally with customers, clearly explaining findings and service options
• Complete all service documentation accurately in company software
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for emergency service coverage

Competencies for Success

• Current West Virginia HVAC Technician License required
• 5+ years of proven HVAC service experience (residential and/or light commercial)
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
• Leadership or mentoring experience strongly preferred
