Mullen Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking a reliable and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Charleston, WV. This role focuses on diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining HVAC systems while delivering professional, high‑quality service at every job site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and airflow issues
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repairs or solutions
• Perform routine maintenance and warranty service work
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding findings and next steps
• Accurately document service work using company software
• Follow company procedures, safety standards, and applicable codes
• Participate in a rotating on‑call schedule as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• HVAC trade school, vocational training, or apprenticeship preferred
• Current West Virginia HVAC Technician License
• EPA Universal Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Working knowledge of HVAC electrical and mechanical systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
• Reliable, professional, and detail‑oriented
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full‑time, year‑round position
• Rotating on‑call schedule (not constant)
• Work performed at customer and job sites within the service area
